Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, has firmly rejected a US-drafted resolution at the UN Security Council, seeking navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, Irani media reported. According to Press TV, Nebenzya also criticised the resolution as a “biased and confrontational” effort by Washington to isolate Iran while overlooking the underlying causes of the West Asia crisis.
