Pakistan recorded 1,212 new COVID-19 cases and 39 new fatalities on Tuesday, according to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Wednesday.
According to the NCOC, the body in charge of Pakistan’s pandemic response, the government has done 19,685,529 tests and confirmed a total of 1,253,868 patients, including 1,181,054 who have recovered.
The number of active cases in the country has fallen to 44,828 with 3,079 people in serious condition.
According to the NCOC, 39 additional deaths have been reported, bringing the total death toll to 27,986.
