According to statistics supplied by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday, 216 new Covid-19 patients have been detected in the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the country’s top platform in charge of Covid response, 33,435 samples were analysed over this time period, with 216 of them turning out to be positive, bringing the total caseload to 1,280,092.

The positivity rate fell to 0.64 percent, the lowest level ever recorded since the authorities began tracking infection rates in March of last year.
