Prime Minister Imran Khan unveiled the Sehat Insaf Card in Faisalabad on Wednesday, claiming that Pakistan’s doctor-to-population ratio was one of the worst in the world.

The issuance of health cards, according to the prime minister, was one of the first steps toward establishing Pakistan an Islamic welfare state, and he noted that allocating Rs400 billion from Punjab’s budget for the universal health care system was difficult.
