PM Imran Khan summoned an urgent meeting of the National Security Committee to discuss the current situation of Afghanistan as the Taliban has overtaken the country. The NSC meeting was attended by senior cabinet members and services chiefs. They were briefed about the evolving situation in Afghanistan and its possible impacts on Pakistan and the region. NSC highlighted that Pakistan wants peace and stability in Afghanistan.
