According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a Pakistan Army major and a soldier were killed in a gunfight with terrorists in South Waziristan on Tuesday.

The incident took place in the Angoor Adda area on the night of April 11 and 12, according to the military’s media wing. “The terrorists’ location was fully engaged by troops. As a result, two terrorists were killed,” the statement continued.

Major Shujaat Hussain, 30, a resident of Toba Tek Singh, and Sepoy Imran Khan, 27, a resident of Naseerabad, were martyred during the fierce exchange of fire, according to the ISPR.
