Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar has talked to Al Jazeera, reiterating that the US attack was coordinated with the Nigerian government and saying it “clearly” showed that his government would work with other countries in the “fight against terrorism”. Tuggar said that he was not aware of any other strikes that could happen and said he is aware of what “pertains to diplomacy”. “I’m not involved in the operational side of things, which is dealt with by the minister of defence and the other security agencies,” he said.
