Penguin Random House Shelves Book on Palestinian History

Penguin Random House has shelved a children’s book about Palestine days before its scheduled release following an editorial dispute with its Palestinian-American writers, The Guardian reported. Co-authors Alana Hadid and Jenan Matari disagreed with the publisher over the portrayal of Palestinian history. Matari said she would not compromise her community’s values for professional success.
