Oil prices surge again as regional tensions escalate

Brent crude climbed above $100 a barrel on Wednesday as renewed US-Iran hostilities raised concerns over global oil supplies. Prices have fluctuated sharply since the conflict began in February, with Brent previously reaching $126.41. WTI also surged before retreating following hopes of de-escalation and strategic reserve releases. Renewed strikes have now pushed prices higher again, reigniting supply concerns.
