Golan urges change bloc to form government with Arab parties

Democrats leader Yair Golan called on parties in the bloc led by Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot to join forces with Arab parties and form a government, arguing that they have a majority in the 120-seat Knesset. “Netanyahu lost. I know how to count to 120. 65 is more than 55. That’s how Israeli democracy works. Period,” Mr Golan wrote on X. Mr Golan, a former deputy chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, also challenged Mr Netanyahu’s bloc over its reliance on ultra-Orthodox parties.
