Bannu’s district administration has imposed a week-long ban on pillion riding, public display of weapons and tinted vehicle windows under Section 144, citing security concerns ahead of a polio vaccination campaign. The restrictions, effective until November 7, aim to protect vaccination teams and police personnel following previous attacks. Violators will face legal action under the Pakistan Penal Code.
