Abu Dhabi launches 'driverless' taxi service for citizens

The entertainment park Yas Island, which also boasts a Formula One race track and a Ferrari World theme park, has introduced an automated taxi car service, according to the Khaleej Times.

Trials for the autonomous ride-sharing service will begin this month in Abu Dhabi, according to the service statement, which is part of the G42 group, with the goal of eventually implementing the technology in the UAE.
