NZC defends decision on new T20 competition

New Zealand Cricket has defended its decision to launch NZ20 amid criticism over its handling of a Deloitte report that favoured further exploring Australia’s Big Bash League. NZC Chair Diana Puketapu-Lyndon said four expert reports, stakeholder feedback and the board’s own assessment were considered before a unanimous vote backing NZ20.
