ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has projected Pakistan’s economic growth at 3.7 per cent in the current fiscal year, while warning that the country accounts for nearly half of the extreme poor in the Menaap region. The bank said services, manufacturing and livestock would support growth despite higher import costs. It also warned that rising food and transport prices, along with possible El Niño effects, could worsen inflation and food insecurity.
