Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday announced increased compensation for police personnel martyred or injured on duty. Payments to families of martyred officers will range from Rs17 million to Rs35 million, depending on rank. The government will replace plot allotments with cash payments and revise financial assistance for injured personnel.
