Kanye West changes name to 'Ye'

Ye is the new name for Kanye West, who was formerly known as Kanye West.
A Los Angeles Superior Court communications officer told AFP on Monday that the 44-year old's name change request has been granted.
In August, the mercurial performer submitted the request, citing "personal reasons."
Because of the name change, the Grammy-winning rapper and producer no longer has a middle or last name. Kanye Omari West was his previous full name.
