Farmers Postpone Islamabad March After Balochistan Assurances

The Pakistan Kissan Ittehad has postponed its planned long march and sit-in towards Islamabad after the Balochistan government assured farmers that their concerns would be addressed. A government delegation met Kissan Ittehad President Khalid Baath, who accepted the assurances and agreed to delay the protest. The group had planned the march to highlight agricultural problems and demand action on farmers’ concerns.
