The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to stand firm in his intention to invade Gaza’s southern city of Rafah despite a troop withdrawal from the south on Sunday. “There is no more just war than this war, and we are determined to defeat it with complete victory,” his office wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Return all our abductees, complete the elimination of Hamas in the entire Gaza Strip, including Rafah, and ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel,” it added.
