Al Jazeera may be shut down in Israel on Monday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pushed politicians to pass a bill outlawing the network in a Monday evening hearing. The Knesset will meet this evening for the second and third readings of the law, introduced after the October 7 attack on Israel. Mr Netanyahu has pushed the coalition head Ofir Katz to ensure the bill passes, his Likud party said.
