Hamas accused its Palestinian Authority rivals of sending security officers into northern Gaza, using aid lorries as cover. A Palestinian Authority official denied the allegations. A senior official with the Hamas Interior Ministry told the group’s Al Aqsa TV that the security force’s mission was supervised by Majed Faraj, chief of intelligence for the PA. Six members of the force, who escorted aid lorries through the Rafah crossing with Egypt, were arrested, the report said.
