Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced a national day of appreciation for soldiers serving in the Israeli army as attacks on Palestinians continue in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Speaking at the start of a government meeting, Netanyahu said his cabinet would also approve “additional assistance for career and regular service personnel”, including an economic aid fund, grants, incentives and housing benefits.
