Navjot Kaur Sadhu, the wife of Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sadhu and a former MLA, slammed former chief minister, Capt Amrinder Singh, for his relationship with Pakistani writer Aroosa Alam on Saturday.
Navjot Kaur Sadhu said that during Captain Amrinder Singh’s reign, Aroosa Alam had an excessive influence on appointments in the Punjab Police. She also accused Amrinder Singh of accepting bribes and offering a Pakistani journalist “things.” She claims that not a single posting in the Punjab Police Department occurred without Arousa Alam receiving a gift or payment. Navjot Kaur Sadhu alleged that the bride’s son used to bring money to Amrinder Singh.
