The National assembly passed the ICT senior citizens bill 2021 presented by the ministry of human rights. Under this bill, old-age homes (Dar-ul-Shafqat) will be constructed in Islamabad for the accommodation of senior citizens. This bill will permit senior citizens to enter public parks and museums without any ticket and will allow them to benefit from the hospitals fully or partially funded by the government.
