The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday that more than 160,000 children in central Gaza have received a first dose of polio vaccine, as part of an inoculation campaign that started on Sunday.The vaccination drive will continue in the centre of the enclave until Wednesday evening, the ministry said in a statement. Vaccine doses will on Thursday be administered in Khan Younis governorate in southern Gaza for four days, the ministry added. It will then move to northern Gaza on Monday, with doses to be given out for another four days.
