Pakistan Cricket team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis resigned from coaching posts. Saqlain Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq will serve as interim coaches in the home series against New Zealand. Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis were appointed head coach and bowling coach of the national cricket team in September 2019, respectively.
