Punjab Home Department said around 9.5 million cell phone users have downloaded online loan applications and hundreds of thousands of people were harassed, threatened, and blackmailed amid new financial fraud by these online applications. Barwaqt Loan, PK Loan, Easy Loan, Zeta Loan, and Asan Qarz, Udhar Paisa, Credit Cat, Fast Loan, Easy Money, and B Cash applications are among the fraudulent loan applications, according to media reports.
