Millat Tractors Limited (MTL), on Thursday, announced that it was shutting down production for an indefinite period starting from Friday. It argued that the company could not plough ahead with operations amid low demand and severely compromised cash flow. “Due to continuing reduced demand for tractors and cash flow constraints, the Company will remain closed from Friday, January 06, 2023, till further notice,” the MTL said in the bourse filing.
