LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Monday ordered dedicated bike lanes on major Lahore roads and directed strict enforcement of traffic rules for vehicles operating under the Suthra Punjab Programme. She expressed grief over the death of a minor girl in an accident involving a Suthra Punjab vehicle. The chief minister also ordered stricter enforcement of zebra crossings, approved camera-based monitoring and reviewed pedestrian alert buttons. The Mall will host a pilot project, while Ferozepur Road will be developed as a model road.
