Malik Muhammad Younis, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated middle-distance runners, passed away at 77 due to a heart attack. Known for his endurance and speed, Younis earned 83 gold medals, including a historic victory at the 1974 Asian Games. His records remain unbroken, marking an indelible legacy in Pakistani athletics. Funeral prayers will be held in Turap, Attock District.
