Hezbollah announced that it had fired 48 Katyusha rockets into Israel, targeting the Ein Zeitem base near Safad The Israeli army said it had identified a barrage of approximately 35 rockets. Israeli media reports claimed that it was the largest barrage since the border conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah group began.
