Kuwait: On Oct 20, Kuwait’s ruling emir has paved the way for an exoneration to forgive dissidents. This has been a major requirement of opposition legislators to end a months-long deadlock with the appointed government. According to Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah’s office, he has commissioned the parliament speaker, PM, and the head of the supreme judicial congress for conditions and terms of the acquittal.
