36-year-old Kanwal was burnt by her father, stepmother, and brother in Pehelwan Goth, Karachi. Her brother registered a case at Sharea Faisal police station against the accused family members for torturing and burning Kanwal alive. Police registered murder under Section 302. Police reported that the dead body has been sent for postmortem and further action will be taken after the postmortem report.
