Islamabad: On Tuesday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced that by-polls and Karachi’s local body elections would take place on their respective dates. In a statement, the ECP said the by-elections for the National and provincial assemblies’ seats would take place on October 16 and the second phase of Karachi’s local body elections would take place on October 23.
