King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday and was met at the airport by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, official media in the two countries said. The visit, which was not previously announced, comes as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel in another effort to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, after Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli troops last week.
