French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte are to host King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania for lunch on Monday. “The two heads of state will address the extreme urgency of concluding without further delay an agreement on a ceasefire in Gaza that finally guarantees the protection of all civilians and the massive entry of emergency aid,” Mr Macron’s office said. King Abdullah and Mr Macron, who last met in Paris in February, will also discuss measures to put in place a two-state solution.
