Rome: On Dec 23, the PM Office of Italy said that it was planning to tighten restrictions to try to curb a sharp rise in COVID-19 infections. Mask wearing will be mandatory outdoors again. The statement also said that the government was also considering closing discos and clubs up until New Year’s Eve.
