On Dec 23, Roger Waters, British musician and founding member of the former rock band Pink Floyd, vehemently criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the arrest of rights activist Khurram Parvez in IIOJK. “Hey Modi, leave Khurram alone!” the musician wrote and shared a tweet by an account stressing the release of the activist. Last year, he also spoke out against Modi’s totalitarian Citizenship Amendment Act at a London protest.
