The Israeli army again denied carrying out strikes on Palestinians waiting to receive aid in northern Gaza last week, killing more than 100 civilians. Admiral Daniel Hagari said Israeli forces had fired only warning shots to prevent a crush after confirming an initial investigation had concluded. “The majority of Palestinians were killed or injured as a result of the stampede, from the information we gathered from the commanders and forces on the ground,” he said.
