Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported that an Israeli tank fired two rounds into the town of Kfarchouba in southern Lebanon. A ceasefire between Israel and the armed group Hezbollah took effect on Wednesday under a deal brokered by the US and France, allowing people in both countries to start returning to homes in border areas shattered by about a year of fighting.
