Israeli forces detained Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, the grand mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, after Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Wafa reported. Local sources said Israeli troops took Hussein into custody shortly after he delivered the Friday sermon and led prayers at the mosque.
