Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Foreign Ministry are reportedly trying to repatriate football player Sagiv Yehezkhel, who appeared in a Turkish court today. Ge was booked on incitement charges after showing support for hostages held in Gaza. Israeli media reported that diplomatic efforts were being made to win the release of Yehezkhel, who plays for Antalyaspor and is the subject of an investigation into “inciting the public to hatred and hostility”.
