The Israeli army on Thursday warned Gazans against moving on a north-south route as it said its forces launched a ground operation in the territory. “For your safety, it is prohibited to move on the Salah Al Din route between the north and south of the Gaza Strip and vice versa,” the army’s Arabic language spokesman Avichay Adraee in a post on X. “Moving from the north to the south is allowed only via Al Rashid (Al Bahr) road,” he added.
