Israeli forces said that they struck a building allegedly used by Hamas fighters at Gaza city’s Islamic University. The army said the building in the western Sabra district was a base “to fire anti-tank missiles and to direct and carry out attacks against troops”. “This is another example of the systematic exploitation by Hamas of civilian infrastructure and the population as a human shield for its terrorist activities,” the military said.
