The Israeli army said troops are continuing a “counter-terrorism” operation in Gaza city, after intelligence indicated the presence of Hamas and Islamic Jihad infrastructure in the area. The military said in the Shujaiya area of Gaza city the troops eliminated militants and discovered sniper equipment, RPGs, grenades, and AK-47 rifles. “In addition, terrorist infrastructure and an underground route were destroyed.”
