A former minister from the Palestinian Authority was killed in an Israeli strike on a refugee camp in central Gaza, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said. Sheikh Yousef Salama, who served as Awqaf and Religious Affairs minister, as well as a preacher at Al Aqsa mosque, died following an Israeli strike on his home in Al Maghazi refugee camp. Several of his relatives were killed in the strike this morning, the official Wafa news agency reported.
