The Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesman Col Avichay Adraee issued two separate orders, warning Gazans against returning to the north and Lebanese against moving towards several villages in south Lebanon. Israeli troops are still deployed at the Netzarim Corridor that leads to northern Gaza. Mr Adraee said the route has not been reopened due to “Hamas’s breach of the ceasefire agreement.” According to Israel, Hamas has breached the deal by releasing female soldiers before civilian women. Mr Adraee said the Netzarim Corridor would not be reopened until Hamas releases female civilian hostage Arbel Yehud. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office issued a similar warning on Saturday.
