The Israeli army said its air defense system intercepted five rockets that crossed from Rafah into communities near the Gaza Strip on Thursday. The army added in a statement that it struck and killed the “terrorists” who carried out the launches. The air force also struck “terror” targets in the area from which the launches were carried out, it added.
