Israeli forces on Tuesday detained at least 13 Palestinians during a raid in Balata refugee camp east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Wafa news agency reported. Security sources said that Israeli troops accompanied by bulldozers stormed the camp amid heavy gunfire, deployed snipers on the rooftops and raided and searched a number of houses. They detained 13 people and questioned some others, the sources said, adding that the raids were continuing.
