The Israeli army claimed that its troops took control of a Hamas outpost in western Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip overnight. The fighting to take over the outpost lasted for 10 hours, during which the troops killed Hamas fighters, seized weapons, and destroyed tunnel shafts, it added.
