The operations director of Gaza’s civil defence and his wife were killed in an Israeli air strike on their house in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the agency said. It has mourned Ashraf Abu Nar in a statement on Telegram, saying that he was “a disciplined and responsible officer committed to his humanitarian and professional work”.
